About
As an art & product designer I focus on translating my research into a meaningful product. My products gain value as a result of having a deeper purpose and narrative. In my work, I combine technology and manual labor using a variety of mediums to produce sensible solutions, as demonstrated in my project VÄXA LABB. Furthermore, I am inspired by materials, pushing their boundaries, and experimenting with tools and machinery, as seen in my project The Melted Basket. In addition, I am fascinated by aesthetics and color psychology, which is apparent in a playful and often purposefully imperfect manner in my work. Ultimately, my passion for preserving traditional craftsmanship stems from a commitment to creating items that prioritize quality, durability, and authenticity—essential elements that, in turn, contribute to building a better future. All these components are collectively morphed into my designs.
